This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First of all ~ take a deep breath, you’ve got this! My goal is to make your session feel relaxed and fun, not stiff or overly posed. You don’t need to be a model or know what to do with your hands (I’ll guide you every step of the way).
Here’s what helps:
- Wear what feels like you. Choose outfits you’re comfortable moving in and that make you feel confident — think cozy textures and colors that fit your personality.
- Arrive with time to spare. A calm start sets the tone for a stress-free session.
- Trust the process. I’ll direct you into natural, candid moments rather than stiff poses. The best photos come when you’re relaxed and just being yourself.
- Bring your people (or pets!) who make you laugh and feel at ease — that’s where the magic happens.
By the end, it won’t feel like a “photoshoot” at all — more like hanging out with a friend who happens to have a camera.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel expenses are not included in our standard wedding packages. For weddings outside our local area, we’ll provide a clear estimate based on distance, accommodations, and any other necessary arrangements. This ensures your day is fully covered, no surprises—just beautiful, effortless memories wherever your story takes you.
Can you recommend any locations?
Absolutely! Picking the perfect spot is one of my favorite parts of planning a session. The location sets the mood, so we’ll choose one that feels like you.
We can keep it simple and meaningful ~ maybe your home, a favorite coffee shop, or a trail you love to walk. Or, if you want something new, I have a list of beautiful, tucked-away spots with great light and a cozy, natural feel.

Yes, please! I love when clients share their ideas, favorite photos, or inspiration boards ~ it helps me understand what matters most to you. Think of it as a starting point, not a script ~ I’ll bring your vision to life in a way that still feels natural and true to you.
Sometimes the best moments happen when we let things unfold, so I’ll mix your must-have shots with plenty of candid, in-between moments too.
